The Trust is bound by its Charitable Trust Deed which states its main object as ‘to advance public education in and appreciation of the arts by the public display of fine works of art.’

Display acquisition and the making of grants within thatain object is covered by the need to ensure that policy is regularly reviewed from time to time through joint meetings with Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales with whom the Trust has a long-term agreement for curation and display.
